Course Description:
This course is designed to provide the student with the background of how to evaluate and treat patients with disorders of the shoulder. They will be taught basic clinical skills for diagnosing and treating specific shoulder syndromes by recognizing signs and symptoms related to those syndromes. Through lecture and demonstration, the student will be covering topics in shoulder anatomy, biomechanics and pathology. Specific movement impairment syndromes related to the shoulder will be introduced, as well as intervention strategies based on current evidence to remedy these impairments.
